EriCommunityUK against G7 support to terrorism

Ethio-Eritrean G7 Rally Press release: Truro Boscawen Park

G7 Submit protest on Saturday 12 2021

The Ethiopian and Eritrean communities in UK are deeply disturbed and extremely shocked by the most heinous crimes and treasonous act perpetrated by the infamous TPLF leadership against the peoples of Ethiopia generally and the Tigray people in particular and the people of Eritrea. It is equally shocking and perplexing to see the extent to which the USA administration and European Union would like to go in order to absolve the TPLF from their crimes and treacherous deeds.

By ethnic profiling the Ethiopian Federal army, the TPLF fanatic soldiers killed in cold blood their comrade in arms that are of different ethnic group. The unprovocative attack by rogue TPLF leadership on the Northern Command of Ethiopian Federal army stationed in Tigrai region, the savage massacre and mutilations of their army and the retreat of core army to Eritrea send a shock wave to the whole countries in the Horn of Africa and became a real threat to very existence of Ethiopia. Besides, the confiscation of tanks, missiles, and heavy weapons from the Federal Army in an act of army robbery, a felony in the USA, impinged Ethiopia in the brinks of collapse and threw the Horn of Africa in another cycle of real war and instability.

In order to plunge the whole Ethiopia in ethnic based violence, the fanatic TPLF cadres and youth wing committed Mai Kadra massacre where they callously killed and mutilated by selecting and ethnically profiling the male population in an act of a series of ethnic cleansing and mass murders.

To give the crisis the TPLF planned and executed a regional and international dimension, they launched rocket attacks to Asmara, Eritrea Capital, and Bahirdar and Gondar cities in Ethiopia, and declared that they would attack other cities and towns in Eritrea and Ethiopia. Called on all Tigreans people to take arms against Ethiopia army, and distributed arms and weapons to all capable adults. When they started losing in the war that they have started and instigated, the TPLF mafia started looting, destroying infrastructure and freed 10000 committed criminals into the society

Whitewashing these glaring TPLF crimes neither serve justice nor bring enduring regional peace and stability. Jeopardising the blossoming democracy, free speech and respect of human rights in Ethiopia, undermining the evolving peace and stability between Ethiopia and Eritrea; and throwing poisonous ethnic politics in the middle of the long awaited Ethiopian election by USA administration and European Union is a betrayal of the democratic values. We are also alarmed the echoing of terrorist TPLF propaganda and misinformation by the USA administration and EU, and the concerted campaign and misinformation that being used as a recruiting tool

and battle cry that aimed to aid the terrorist TPLF. Emboldened by the cover and support of USA Administration, the terrorist TPLF started targeting soft targets by killing Tigrean civil Administrators and aid worker. It is high time to bring those who committed these heinous crime to justice, a demand enshrined in a democratic value of modern nations. We, therefore, call on all G7 countries and the international community to stand with Ethiopian government and the countries of the region to bring those who instigated, planned and executed these cowardly act to justice

Ethiopian and Eritrean communities in the UK are appalled by the failure of the USA Administration and European Union to condemn TPLF leadership for starting the war, precipitating humanitarian crisis in Tigray, and for planning and execution regional instability. We are also disappointed by USA Administration and European Union for pursuing colonial look alike policy when they deal with Ethiopia and Eritrea. We urge therefore all G7 countries to respect sovereignty, and territorial integrity of both Ethiopia and Eritrea. The Ethio-Eritrea Peace alliance and law enforcement operation of the Ethiopian Government in Tigray region has averted a massive humanitarian and security crisis which could have engulfed the whole of the Horn of Africa and likely spilled over to the shores of Europe. We therefore urge you to support the peace endeavour, regional stability and economic cooperation that is led by Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, the 2019 Nobel Peace Prize winner and Eritrean President Issais Afwerk. We urge the USA and G7 Countries to refrain from actions that could wreck the peace of the region, the world cannot afford another Libya or Syria.
