Rally to shame the main stream media for their fake news and their instigation of violence in the horn of Africa
Rally to urge British government to support peace and stability endeavour of Ethiopian and Eritrean people and governments
Ladies and Gentlemen,
On behalf of British Eritrean Communities and Organisation Network and Eritreans in the UK, I would like to express our deepest condolences and sympathy to Ethiopian community in the UK and the government and people of Ethiopia, particularly
the families of the victims of ethnic based violence in all Ethiopia.
Ladies and Gentlemen,
Condemnation of these cowardly act of terrorism against innocent people is not enough and all humanity should demand justice to these victims and we are confident that under Prime Minister Abey leadership, the government and people of Ethiopia is going to enforce the law and bring all criminals to justice.
Ladies and Gentlemen,
We must not dismiss the root causes of these horrific problems and those heinous crimes. We do not need to be experts to know the supreme maestro of these atrocities has been the belligerent TPLF leaders. TPLF leaders were behind the war between Ethiopia and Eritrea that caused un-parallel misery, destruction and death on both countries, they were also the masters of the no war no peace situation between the two countries during which they were actively engaged in polarizing Ethiopians as well Eritreans along ethnic, clan, region, religion or any other faults that exist in society, and recently they have engineered the humanitarian crises that we witness in Ethiopia in general and Tigray region in particular. TPLF’s traitorous attack on those who were defending the Ethiopian borders and helping the Tigrayian people during the COVID-19 and locust swarm had resulted in their demise.
Ladies and Gentlemen,
The criminal activities and terrorist tactics of TPLF were clearly manifested during the looting of Federal government properties, ethnic based killing and humiliating of the Federal army that has been stationed to help them, threatening to destroy all major
Eritrean and Ethiopian cities and launching rocket attack on Eritrean cities and two Ethiopian cities and trying to shake more than 100 million Ethiopian people and rule them by force. If it were not for the Ethio-Eritrea Peace alliance and law enforcement operation of the Ethiopian Government in Tigray region, we would have witnessed massive humanitarian and security crisis which could have engulfed the whole of the Horn of Africa and likely spilled over to the shores of Europe.
Ladies and Gentlemen,
Since the demise of Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF), there has been a relentless barrage and spread of disinformation. On an almost daily basis, we have been inundated with a seemingly endless stream of reports and allegations that have been utterly false and baseless. As these information are disseminated for sinister purposes, we need to be vigilant and must not dilute our resolve to bring all criminals to justice
